Last year....on 15 September 2022 we were once again able to enjoy the magnificent facilities at The Renaissance Club for our annual golf event.

Kindly sponsored by Sypro we had 21 teams taking part with our usual shotgun start and in very pleasant playing conditions (for the most part!).

The scoring was extremely high with our winners, Holmes Miller, achieving an impressive 93 points. Second with a score of 91 were GM Projects and Lovats Group were third, one behind on 90 points. 

 

Graeme Fraser collected the nearest the hole prize at the 6th hole. Our longest drive winner was Mike Thomson with a huge drive on the 16th and our "Beat the Pro" competition saw 8 winners, well down on last year (thankfully) although I think the change of hole definitely helped!

Due to the kind generosity of everyone who attended the day our beneficiary the Goodtrees Neighbourhood Centre in Edinburgh will benefit to the tune of nearly £20,000 to cover the costs of their new mini bus. A special thank you goes to young 14 year old Mackenzie Law from the charity who spoke so passionately and eloquently about how the charity had helped him and the great work that they do for children and young adults in their community.

As always we were very thankful to all the staff at The Renaissance for looking after us so well and to all the team hosts and their guests for their support in making it a truly memorable day.
