Christmas Carol Concert

It is from this event that SPIFOX derives its name. The Scottish Property Industry Festival of Christmas began life in 1983, its aim to raise some funds by encouraging people to have a good time and spend a little along the way. These values remain at the core of SPIFOX to this day - have fun, raise cash and make a difference to the lives of young people in Scotland.

From its beginning at the Church of St Andrew and St George followed by school dinners at the Assembly Rooms, this Yuletide celebration is a true mark of the Industry's generosity and now attracts over 940 guests.

Over the years funds raised at the Christmas Event have been distributed to charities large and small but regardless of the size and sophistication of the beneficiary ever penny that is donated contributes to improving the lives of less fortunate children.

Held by many property professionals to mark the start of Christmas, the 2011 Event took place on Wednesday 14th December at St Cuthbert's Parish Church followed by lunch at the EICC.  We raised over £100,000 on the day and our three main beneficiaries were CHAS, Barnardo's and So Precious.  Given the fantastic amount raised we have also made a number of smaller donations to KIND, Highway Nursery, Shelter, The Yard, Buddies, CCLASP, Spina Bifida and VTO's.

The 2012 Carol Concert will be held on Wednesday 19th December, the booking form will be available to download in early October.
